Our 2017 surf outings for children with special needs will be held on Thursday, July 13 and Thursday, August 17 in Long Beach, New York on Riverside Beach (off of Riverside Boulevard). Children surf for about 20 minutes in appointments from 9:00 a.m. until 1:00 p.m.

To register your child please email SurfersWay@gmail.com with your child’s name and age, your name and cell phone number, and the date and time of the event you are registering for. We will send you an email confirmation when your child is registered.

Surfer’s Way provides surf outings only for children with special needs. If you are interested in surfing lessons for your typical child, please check out one of our sponsors, Surf2Live.

Outings are subject to change due to surfing conditions, so please make sure we have your updated information in case we need to contact you.  Early arrival is key to a successful experience, so please arrive at the beach at least 30 minutes early in order to prepare for your child's surfing experience.  All equipment is provided, however, please bring your own towels and sunscreen for frequent application throughout the day.

Come to surf, stay for lunch - enjoy a day at the beach like never before!

Don't know where to go?  Check out this map or contact us for directions.

Surfer’s Way outing attendees do not have to pay the beach access fee.
